PhotoWALL is an exciting showcase of mobile devices, real-time web technology and user generated content. Many believe real-time user generated content is the future of social media, and we agree. However, we have a new and even better approach - “true real-time ".

Currently, web media is considered real-time when it appears instantly in an activity stream. When someone posts a link to a photo, this is considered real-time, as their community of followers see this input instantly. However, this is not true real-time, as the media is most likely stale - meaning the actual capture point (when the photo was taken) can be minutes, hours or days old.

photoWALL showcases a " true real-time " media stream (or WALLs) by showing media live as it is captured. Our mobile applications work in conjunction with our server technology to only show live media as it happens. If the media is not live or we can not verify the true capture point, it does not appear on the live Global Wall or other live search walls.

We have designed our core platform from the ground up to only accept mobile media, thus ensuring it is live. Also, we use several layers of intelligent geo-tagging that adds exciting contextual information automatically. As customers interact with our platform, thousands of data points are calculated to create a rich, true real-time environment.

After showing Microsoft an early version of our product, they signed on as a channel partner to leverage our platform for their user generated content projects, and also to manage the advertising sales for the business.

In addition to true real-time media, photoWALL offers a more relaxed stream of your media - eliminating the overload of chatter. Unlike other sites that allow all types of input, photoWALL requires a photo to start a conversation. All conversations revolve around a photo and you decide who can access your private network and share your thoughts and ideas. Public following is allowed and if someone follows your WALL, they will only see your public photos. They will not have access to your Network or Private photos.

We designed photoWALL to act as your hub - connecting your photos to Facebook, Flickr and Twitter. We have a cool auto-send feature, that if turned on - will auto-send your photo(s) with your comments to Facebook, Flickr and Twitter - individually, or all three! So you decide, on-the-fly, as you take each photo if you want to send them to the world or just a few close friends.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, how about adding your voice - what is that worth? photoWALL has a unique feature that allows you to add a short VoiceTag to your photo. This optional VoiceTag is captured immediately after you take your photo and allows you to describe the moment for your viewers. photoWALL is a family friendly service. We employ a team of content monitors to review all media. Inappropriate content is banned from the site and the senders account may be revoked.

Customers with pay-as-you-go or prepaid data plans will be happy to know our technology DOES NOT use SMS (text messaging) or MMS (picture messaging). We use standard Internet protocols to upload photos from your mobile. A recent analysis shows our method allows most customers to send 10 photos for the cost of 1 photo using MMS!
